ODITC—3t EnerMech has trained more than 2,000 Guyanese to date, providing essential skills for the energy industry in Guyana, the company noted in a LinkedIn post on Sept. 19.
The organization, established in 2021, offers a comprehensive range of training programs, including OPITO Survival Training, Health & Safety, and Technical Competence courses.

As a joint venture between UK-based EnerMech and 3t Energy Group, ODITC—3t EnerMech has become a key player in the global training arena. It is the only engineering construction industry training board (ECITB)-approved training provider in Angola and Guyana, establishing a Training Centre of Excellence in the South American country to develop local oil and gas talent.
The facility, located in Lusignan, features infrastructure with a skills hall, welding and fabrication shop, rigging and lifting areas, a technology suite, and a 14-foot deep sea survival pool. Millions have been invested to ensure the centre meets the region’s growing needs.
In partnership with Caribbean Subsea Specialist Inc. (CSSI), the centre recently launched world-class robotics training and project simulation. It now houses a Schilling Heavy Duty ROV simulator, providing trainees with hands-on experience in subsea operations like tree installations, well intervention, and pipeline surveys.
