ExxonMobil is seeking companies to provide crude oil sales data analysis services as the operator continues to manage an expanding portfolio of crude grades from Guyana’s Stabroek Block.

The opportunity was published on August 7 by the Centre for Local Business Development (CLBD) through a request for information (RFI) for a ‘Data Analysis – Crude Oil Sales’ agreement.

Crude oil sales data analysis services help oil operators evaluate the commercial performance of produced oil by tracking sales volumes, revenue, and pricing. ExxonMobil previously relied on international firms such as BP and Aramco Trading Limited to support crude marketing activities.

The contract opportunity comes as Guyana’s crude production continues to expand from the ExxonMobil-operated Stabroek Block, which has grown from its first commercial discovery in 2015 to more than 900,000 barrels per day of production.

Why Guyana’s crude grades turn heads around the world | OilNOW

Guyana currently exports four crude grades: Liza, Unity Gold, Payara Gold and Golden Arrowhead. Of these, only Golden Arrowhead is a light sweet crude, with an American Petroleum Institute (API) gravity of 36.5°, while the remaining grades are classified as medium sweet.

According to OilNOW’s own tracking, the country’s crude shipments have reached markets across Europe, North America and other regions, with Panama, the Netherlands, Italy, the United States and the United Kingdom among key destinations. United States crude imports from Guyana reached record levels in 2025, with the country emerging as one of the leading suppliers to the American market.
