SBM Offshore’s subsidiary, Guyana Deepwater Operations Incorporated (GDO), is seeking a supplier to provide flights between Guyana and Suriname to connect crew members with KLM International flights to Amsterdam, Netherlands.

The scope of service outlines key areas including the provision of flights to connect crew members with KLM international flights, ensuring the safe transportation of baggage to its destination, offering onboard refreshments to passengers, and ensuring timely arrival into Suriname in accordance with the KLM schedule.

Moreover, the supplier selected for this service must obtain all relevant permits and permissions from the authorities of both countries to ensure smooth operations.

SBM Offshore is looking to tap into Suriname’s offshore oil industry. The company is positioning to capture the tender for Suriname’s first floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO). TotalEnergies leads the Block 58 oil project that is expected to begin producing by the end of the decade.
