Schlumberger Guyana is moving to construct an office building and workshop to support the ExxonMobil operations at the Liza Development. The company is looking for highly qualified contractors to build these facilities which will be located at Houston Port, on the outskirts of Georgetown.

The contractor will be required to perform the erection of a three-story steel office building structure and the complete buildout including architectural framing and finishes, elevator supply and installation, firewalls, HVAC, plumbing, piping and fixtures, sewer treatment, plant and lift station, sprinkler system, fire water tanks with pumps, fire alarm system, electrical system, and lab bridge cranes.

In the case of the workshop, the contractor will be required to perform the erection of a metal building structure including supply and installation of insulation and overhead doors; setting of all owner-provided equipment including bridge cranes, jib cranes, and workshop fans; the installation of compressed air and water piping systems; construction of CMU block walls; and the installation of the electrical service, feeders, gears, lighting, cable, and components.

Schlumberger provides technology for reservoir characterization, drilling, production and processing in the oil and gas industry, and has been a service provider to ExxonMobil Guyana in support of its Stabroek Block operations.
