Women in Energy Guyana is set to host the groundbreaking “Championing Women in the Energy Sector: Creating Pathways Guyana FORUM” this Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Arthur Chung Conference Centre in Georgetown. This event aims to drive transformative change in the energy industry by championing diversity and inclusion.

“At the heart of this movement lies a commitment to unlocking the full potential of the energy sector by championing diversity and inclusion. Every voice is not only welcomed but valued, ensuring that no woman is left behind in the journey towards progress and equality,” the organization said.

The forum will explore a diverse range of topics crucial to the advancement of women in the energy sector, with more than 1,300 women supporting ExxonMobil Guyana’s operations. Key areas of focus include championing diversity and inclusion, promoting women’s financial inclusion, fostering mentorship programs, navigating entrepreneurial challenges, and providing insights and strategies for career transitions.

Featuring an esteemed lineup of speakers, the forum will include Sharlene S. Seegoolam, Managing Director of SLB for Suriname, Guyana, Trinidad, and the Caribbean, as the keynote speaker. Other confirmed speakers are:
