MODEC seeks laboratory partner for potable water testing in Guyana

MODEC is inviting expressions of interest (EOI) for laboratory testing of potable water samples from its offshore fleet in Guyana.

The company requires physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses. Testing must align with standards set by Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI).

Eight Guyanese form first cohort of MODEC’s trainee program in Guyana | OilNOW 

Selected contractors must provide detailed reports. Reports should be available online and by email. Each report must include the test number, publication date, client details, and sample type. 

Additional requirements include the date of collection, receipt date, sampling personnel, vessel name, and analytical results. Reports must also include remarks and the signature of the responsible party.

MODEC hires Oslo-based company to supply compressed air system for Guyana FPSO | OilNOW

ExxonMobil hired MODEC to deliver the Errea Wittu floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel for the Uaru project offshore Guyana through an engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract in 2023. 

The Errea Wittu will be the fifth FPSO deployed offshore Guyana, boosting total oil production to over 1.1 million barrels per day.
