SBM Offshore seeks vendor for genetec access control maintenance in Guyana

Guyana Deep Water Operations Inc. (GDO), a subsidiary of SBM Offshore, has issued a request for information (RFI) seeking vendors to support and maintain its Genetec Access Control Systems at its Georgetown offices.

The selected vendor will be responsible for software updates, hardware maintenance, troubleshooting, system integration, and staff training. 

SBM Offshore completes US$1.5 billion financing for its latest Guyana-bound FPSO | OilNOW 

Key tasks include implementing Genetec ClearID, integrating security systems with HR databases, and ensuring compatibility with new technologies, including potential drone integration.

The vendor must also manage the installation of security devices, coordinate with construction teams, and provide trained personnel for Genetec, Assa Abloy, and AXIS CCTV systems. Staff training on security protocols and emergency response coordination is also required.

Jaguar FPSO to follow Liza Unity model – SBM Offshore CEO | OilNOW

SBM Offshore is the builder and operator of the Liza Destiny, Liza Unity, and Prosperity floating production storage and offloading vessels currently producing oil offshore Guyana. The company is also constructing the ONE GUYANA and Jaguar FPSOs for additional projects sanctioned by ExxonMobil for its Stabroek Block operations.
