ExxonMobil will today announce the roll out of a major capacity building initiative in Guyana that is expected to impact economic development in the new oil producing South American country.

“Join us as we announce the Greater Guyana Initiative, a commitment to significantly expand capacity building efforts and promote sustainable economic development in Guyana,” the company said in a post on its Facebook page.

The multi-year programme will be announced at 10:00 hrs (Guyana time). The initiative is sponsored by the oil major and its co-venturers in the Stabroek Block – Hess and CNOOC.
