Stabroek Block operator, Esso Exploration and Production Guyana Limited (EEPGL) is on the hunt for vehicle and telecommunications suppliers in the Georgetown area.
In public requests for information (RFIs), EEPGL said it plans to put in place agreements for the provision of light motor vehicles and telecommunications services in Guyana’s capital.
For the former, suppliers would need to provide brand new vehicles – model 2022/2023 – that meet international code and are equipped with advanced safety features.
For the latter, suppliers would need to provide Anonymous Internet Access Service (AIAs) managed wireless services, Long Term Evolution (LTE) offshore services and fibre optics cable installation and maintenance services.
Exxon will be installing a fibre optic cable to be connected to the Liza Phases 1 and 2, Payara and Yellowtail projects for communication. The project will ultimately connect Exxon’s onshore and offshore facilities to Guyana’s foundation infrastructure, thereby allowing it to improve productivity (field access data and planning), support remote operations, and support reliability (process monitoring and inspection).
