Subsea Integration Alliance (SIA), a strategic global partnership between Subsea7 and OneSubsea™, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with oil giant, bp. This MoU, announced by Subsea7, aims to create a foundational agreement to streamline integrated subsea developments.
This collaboration will span from the initial concept selection to the entire field life cycle, focusing on improving subsea project outcomes using a novel operational model and innovative commercial strategies.
To ensure optimal coordination and efficiency, a specialised team will be constituted to oversee the activities of the program, emphasizing safety, quality, and top-notch subsea performance.

Olivier Blaringhem, CEO of Subsea Integration Alliance, said: “This agreement will mark a step change in how our highly collaborative teams work together to achieve shared objectives for mutual value. Subsea7 is known to the Guyanese public as one of the key players entrusted with the development of Guyana’s landmark Gas-to-Energy project. A joint venture of Subsea7 and Van Oord was hired to lay the underwater pipeline for the project.
