Noble Corporation said it was awarded a new contract for the jack-up Noble Resolve with an undisclosed operator.
The jack-up will embark on a campaign to plug and abandon 13 wells offshore Spain for 170 days starting in Q2 2025.
The contract value is approximately US$40 million, including mobilization and demobilization of the drilling unit.
“We are excited about Noble’s first contract offshore Spain to perform this long-awaited P&A campaign,” said Blake Denton, SVP of Marketing and Contracts. This award further swells Noble’s backlog, after it announced US$215 million of awards in its 2024 Q1 update.
