CNOOC Petroleum Guyana Limited (CPGL) is set to lease a complex for office and residential use in support of its activities in Guyana for 20 years.
This move is part of CPGL’s expansion in the region, which began with its initial office and staff presence in 2017.

The company via a public request for information said it plans to accommodate its growing workforce and operational needs with facilities that include an office complex and residential units.
The office complex should house 100 staff and feature a conference room, cafeteria, gym, and parking lot. The residential section should offer 30 executive apartment rooms, additional guest apartments, a swimming pool, and a kitchen/dining hall.

CPGL holds a 25% non-operated working interest in the Stabroek Block, located approximately 200 kilometers offshore Guyana. Their partners in this venture are ExxonMobil (EPGL – operator) and Hess Corporation.
