The AccelerateHer program is now accepting applications for its fourth cycle. The program empowers women entrepreneurs to grow their businesses through tailored workshops, one-on-one advisory services, and mentoring. It also fosters collaboration and peer learning.
AccelerateHer pairs participants with professional mentors based on their business background, offering tools like pitch development and value proposition training. It targets women eager to expand their businesses, access new markets, or boost innovation and efficiency.
Applications close on March 31, and selected participants for the boot camp will be notified by April 8. The program includes a two-day boot camp, April 11-12, intended for 30 participants. It will feature group sessions and hands-on activities focusing on business model canvases and value proposition development.
Following the boot camp, the group will advance to a 10-week intensive phase from May to July, requiring 8-10 hours weekly. This phase includes one-on-one mentorship, tailored coaching, SWOT analysis, and peer learning sessions every Thursday.
The program concludes in July with a demo day graduation event. Participants will receive certificates and gain opportunities to interact with the business community, potential buyers, and partners.
AccelerateHer is financially supported by the Greater Guyana Initiative (GGI), a US$100 million project to expand capacity-building efforts and promote sustainable economic development in Guyana. GGI is fully funded and supported by ExxonMobil Guyana and its co-venturers, Hess Corporation and CNOOC Petroleum Guyana.
