ExxonMobil Guyana Limited (EMGL) is seeking suppliers for a goods and services agreement to provide Core Analysis and Handling Services for its offshore activities.
The Request for Information (RFI) outlines the need for routine and special core analysis (RCAL and SCAL) for both conventional and sidewall cores.
It also covers rig-site core handling, stabilization, preparation, and Gamma Ray scanning for safe transport. Suppliers must manage the export logistics and secure shipment of core samples to designated laboratories.

The scope includes the provision of qualified personnel, equipment, and materials for all related activities. Vendors must comply with EMGL’s safety, operational, and regulatory standards.
They will also be responsible for personnel logistics, including transportation, accommodation, training, certifications, and work permits. Inspection, documentation, and safe transport of equipment and materials are also required.
ExxonMobil is the operator of the Stabroek Block, where it has made over 30 commercial discoveries since 2015. Oil production began in December 2019 and continues to grow, increasing demand for supporting services in Guyana.
The company will host a virtual meeting with local vendors on August 19 to discuss its contracting activity and procurement procedures.
