ExxonMobil Guyana Limited (EMGL) is set to continue geotechnical survey operations at the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana.
According to a notice from Guyana’s Maritime Administration Department (MARAD), the survey, which will use the vessels SV Fugro Explorer and SV Fugro Brasilis, is expected to conclude on December 31, 2024.

The area being surveyed lies about 85.96 nautical miles (159.25 kilometers) off Guyana’s coast, covering approximately 593 square nautical miles (2,034 square kilometers).
ExxonMobil holds a 45% stake in the Stabroek Block with co-venturers Hess (30%) and CNOOC (25%).
