MODEC said it has successfully completed and delivered the Errea Wittu FPSO topsides modules at the BOMESC yard in Tianjin, China.

The company announced via LinkedIn on Thursday that the modules were delivered on or ahead of schedule, with all pre-commissioning and leak testing completed and no carry-over work.

MODEC highlighted the site team’s achievement of over five million man hours without a Lost Time Incident, while also commending their commitment to quality.

Project Manager Joseph (Yossi) Azran-Alemberg was quoted in the post, stating: “Your hard work, dedication, and teamwork have set a new standard in the industry. Most importantly, your unwavering commitment to safety and quality truly reflects the heart of this team. Let us continue to build on this success, with the same spirit of collaboration, trust, and excellence that brought us here today.”

MODEC said the delivery reflects what is possible when teams work as “One Team”, aligned with the shared vision of the Uaru project.

The Errea Wittu FPSO is being developed for ExxonMobil’s Uaru development in the Stabroek Block. Uaru, the fifth project approved offshore Guyana, is valued at US$12.7 billion and targets more than 800 million barrels of oil.

The project will include up to 10 drill centers and 44 wells, with an initial production goal of 250,000 barrels per day by 2026.
