Stena Carron Drilling Limited (Guyana Branch) has issued an Expression of Interest (EOI) for suppliers of welding supplies, equipment, and related services. The company is looking for businesses with proven expertise to support its offshore operations in Guyana.

The required services include the supply of steel and fixings necessary for offshore drilling activities. Stena said suppliers must meet strict quality and safety standards and demonstrate prior experience. Compliance with Guyana’s Local Content Act 2021 and certification from the Local Content Secretariat are mandatory.

The EOI was issued on February 27, 2025, and the deadline for submission is March 31, 2025.
Stena Drilling currently operates two rigs alongside Noble Drilling’s fleet, conducting exploration, appraisal, and development drilling activities for ExxonMobil offshore Guyana.
