Global oil and gas company TechnipFMC is expanding its operations in Guyana where it has been providing subsea production systems for the offshore developments at the prolific Stabroek block.

The company recently published a notice inviting contractors to submit Expression of Interest for the supply of a range of material and services for its facilities in the new oil producing South American country.

These include the supply of metal buildings systems, cranes, compressed air systems, electrical supplies, ventilation, and water filtration systems as well as office supplies.

“The supply/services would be performed in Guyana to support our in-country operations,” the company said.

For ongoing Projects in Guyana, TechnipFMC will be providing Enhanced Vertical Deepwater Trees (EVDTs), Tooling, Manifolds, Controls and Tie-in Equipment.

In October, it was announced that the company was awarded a contract by ExxonMobil for delivery of the subsea system for the Payara development, the third deepwater project in Guyana. Payara follows the Liza Phase 1 and 2 developments, both of which TechnipFMC has worked on.
