TGS, a global leader in energy data and intelligence, and Petrobras announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on scientific research and technological development in Brazil. The partnership aims to leverage the expertise and resources of both companies to foster innovation in the energy sector.

The collaboration will focus on three key areas: technological development, scientific research, and sustainability. TGS and Petrobras will develop innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency of exploration and production operations. They will also conduct advanced research to expand knowledge of Brazil’s sedimentary basins, analyzing geological and geophysical data. Sustainability is a central pillar of the partnership, with both companies committed to developing technologies that align with global efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
