ExxonMobil Guyana said it will host a June 19 virtual session for feedback on its Requests for Information (RFI) issued during July-December 2023.

The meeting will include an explanation of its RFI process, feedback on responses to the RFIs, and questions and answers.

Registration for the meeting is ongoing and will close on June 12, 2024.

ExxonMobil is actively engaged in exploration, development, and production activities in Guyana. At least seven exploration and appraisal wells are expected to be drilled this year. Development work is ongoing for the Yellowtail, Uaru, Whiptail, and Gas-to-Energy projects.

Oil production is more than 600,000 barrels per day (b/d). Additional projects are expected to increase production to 1.3 million (b/d). The Gas-to-Energy project is expected to achieve first gas by 2025 at an initial rate of 50 million cubic feet per day.
