TotalEnergies EP Suriname B.V. is seeking companies to help coordinate and execute a local content education program linked to its offshore petroleum activities in Suriname.
The company issued a Request for Expression of Interest inviting entities to provide coordination and execution services for the initiative. The program is intended to support local participation in the country’s developing oil and gas sector.
TotalEnergies holds rights to conduct petroleum operations on Blocks 6, 8, 58 and 64 offshore Suriname.

Under the proposed scope of work, the selected entity will serve as a local execution and coordination unit for the educational program under the direction of TotalEnergies EP Suriname. Responsibilities include coordinating on-the-ground program activities, managing interfaces with government entities, educational institutions, suppliers and other stakeholders, and supporting logistics for site visits, equipment delivery and training sessions.
The provider will also supervise local service providers involved in program execution and assist with the installation of educational infrastructure and laboratory facilities. Additional duties include monitoring progress, resolving operational issues, maintaining structured documentation and ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and regulatory requirements.

TotalEnergies is leading the development of Suriname’s first offshore oil project at the GranMorgu field in Block 58.
The development will include subsea wells tied back to an all-electric drive floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel being delivered by SBM Offshore in partnership with Technip Energies. The vessel is designed with an initial production capacity of 220,000 barrels of oil per day.
TotalEnergies holds a 50% interest in Block 58, with APA Corporation holding the remaining 50%. First oil from the GranMorgu project is expected in 2028.
