Guyana’s President Dr. Irfaan Ali will be among the other CARICOM heads of government to deliver feature remarks at the upcoming Trinidad and Tobago Energy Conference.
T&T’s Energy Chamber – the official hosts of the signature event made the announcement.
The Energy Conference and Trade Show returns on Jan. 23 and lasts until Jan. 25 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Port of Spain under a new theme “Navigating a Complex Energy Future”.

Trinidad’s Prime Minister, Keith Rowley and its Energy Minister, Stuart Young are also slated to speak at the Conference. CARICOM Secretary-General, Dr. Carla Natalie Barnett and other industry experts will also be present.
“At the conference this year we look at developing trends around the world and explore the long-term response of the regional energy sector…We encourage diverse discussions, and we look forward to all the contributions from our lineup of speakers,” the Energy Chamber said.
The event will be a hybrid conference with some delegates appearing in person and others joining virtually. The Trade Show will also be held in person over the course of three days.
