Omni Helicopters International said its operations in Guyana, through Omni Helicopters Guyana Inc (OHGI), have been Certified™ by San Francisco firm Great Place To Work®.

Great Place to Work Certification is a benchmark for recognizing outstanding employee experience. Every year, more than 10,000 companies across 60 countries apply for Great Place To Work certification. The organization certifies companies that meet its criteria and recognizes them through various lists.

Omni said this is a significant milestone for Guyana as it is the first company in the country to receive this recognition.

The survey was a group-wide initiative designed to gain insights into employees’ perceptions of the organization, Omni said. Specifically, the survey targeted Omni Táxi Aéreo and Revo in Brazil, OHI in Portugal, and OHGI in Guyana with all surveyed organizations successfully attaining the certification.

“Great Place To Work Certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent dedication to the overall employee experience,” says Sarah Lewis-Kulin, the Vice President of Global Recognition at Great Place To Work.
