SLB OneSubsea and TotalEnergies partner on major offshore Angola project

SLB has secured a contract from TotalEnergies for its OneSubsea™ joint venture to deliver a 13-well Subsea Production System for the Kaminho project, offshore Angola. The project will be developed in two phases for the Cameia and Golfinho discoveries, aiming to boost Angola’s oil production sustainably.

In the first phase at Cameia, SLB OneSubsea will deploy a configurable subsea production platform with standardized components.

“We are excited for this opportunity to unlock the large potential of the Kaminho project together with TotalEnergies,” said Mads Hjelmeland, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SLB OneSubsea. “Our collaborative contract model enables us to leverage both standardization and highly configurable subsea production platforms, creating greater efficiencies and long-term value for this and future projects in Angola and around the world.”

The project will involve over 10 million man-hours in Angola, focusing on offshore operations and local construction.

SLB OneSubsea will support assembly, module manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and life-of-field services. First production is expected by 2028, with an estimated output of 70,000 barrels of oil per day.
