TechnipFMC has been awarded two significant subsea contracts by Petrobras to support Brazil’s pre-salt offshore fields.
The first contract, valued between US$250 million and US$500 million, involves the design, engineering, and manufacturing of riser flexible pipe. It also includes associated services such as packing and storage.

The second contract, obtained through a competitive tender process, covers the design, engineering, and manufacturing of subsea production systems. These systems will be deployed on the Atapu 2, Sepia 2, and Roncador projects. The contract also provides for installation support, life-of-field services, and options for additional equipment and services.
All equipment will be produced and serviced locally, utilizing TechnipFMC’s established capabilities in Brazil to advance pre-salt reserve development.

We will draw on our extensive in-country operations to deliver on these contracts.”
The value of these awards will be reflected in TechnipFMC’s inbound orders for the third quarter of 2024.
TechnipFMC is a key contractor for ExxonMobil in Guyana. The company will provide project management, engineering, and manufacturing to deliver 48 subsea trees and associated tooling, as well as 12 manifolds and associated controls and tie-in equipment for Exxon’s Whiptail development. It is TechnipFMC’s most recent award from Exxon, where the company has been awarded subsea production system contracts since the first award in 2017 for Liza 1.
