Guyana Deep Water Operations Incorporated (GDO), a subsidiary of SBM Offshore, has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to identify Guyanese manufacturers capable of supplying construction-grade coveralls.

The company, which operates the Liza Destiny, Liza Unity, and Prosperity floating production storage and offloading vessels (FPSO) and is advancing the Jaguar FPSO for the Whiptail project, aims to engage local suppliers to meet its operational needs in Guyana’s growing oil and gas sector.

The scope of the supply includes producing coveralls with specific material requirements: either a composition of 88% cotton and 12% high-strength fiber at 230 g/m², or 100% cotton at 290 g/m². The selected supplier must have the capacity to manufacture 2,000 coveralls within a lead time of 6 to 8 weeks.

Additionally, vendors must demonstrate a proven track record of supplying coveralls for the oil and gas industry.
