MODEC Guyana has announced its intent to publish Requests for Information (RFIs) for various offshore services over the next six months.
The list includes industrial gas services, fire pump performance tests, oil and gas laboratory analysis, and transformers, all set for release by April 1, 2025.

By June 15, RFIs for radioactive advisory and NORM management services will be published. On July 2, 2025, added RFIs will cover seawater lift pump installation, air compressors, flow line pump commissioning, life-saving appliances certification, and flare tip and ignition packages.
Further RFIs expected by July 31, 2025, include FPSO catering and salesforce scope hiring. August 1 releases will cover technical manpower services, diesel bunkering, health and occupational health mapping, medical equipment calibration, and hazardous area electrical inspection. Crane maintenance RFIs are scheduled for August 10, 2025.

MODEC noted that the schedule is subject to external factors and may change if necessary.
ExxonMobil hired MODEC to deliver the Errea Wittu floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel for the Uaru project offshore Guyana through an engineering, procurement, construction and installation (EPCI) contract in 2023. The Errea Wittu will be the fifth FPSO deployed offshore Guyana, boosting total oil production to over 1.1 million b/d.
