The Errea Wittu floating production, storage and offloading vessel is on its way to Guyana and remains scheduled to begin production before the end of 2026.
ExxonMobil Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Darren Woods provided the update during the company’s second-quarter earnings call. Woods said the vessel departed for Guyana in June. It will become the fifth FPSO supporting production from the offshore Stabroek Block.
Errea Wittu “set sail toward Guyana in June and remains on track for startup by the end of the year,” Woods said.

ExxonMobil did not provide an expected arrival date. Woods described the vessel as “the next major step in Guyana’s continued development.”
The FPSO is heading to Guyana as offshore output continues to rise. ExxonMobil said Guyana produced approximately 900,000 barrels per day gross during the second quarter.
The company said the Stabroek Block development has exceeded its original expectations for project delivery, costs, reliability, and production.
Uaru targets more than 800 million barrels of recoverable oil. The US$12.7 billion project will feature up to 10 drill centers and 44 wells. It is designed to produce 250,000 barrels of oil per day.
