LONDON & VISBY, Sweden–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#TopGear–GotlandRing, the world’s most sustainable race circuit, will grace the cover of the British motor magazine BBC TopGear this November. The circuit will also be featured on a whopping 63 pages in the issue.
Additional race track content will be showcased on TopGear’s digital platforms, reaching millions of subscribers and followers worldwide.
The world-renowned motor media brand visited GotlandRing earlier this autumn and hosted its greenest Speed Week to date at the race circuit at the end of August 2023.
TopGear’s production at GotlandRing was their largest of the year and included a team of 16 journalists, photographers, and videographers, who all visited the Swedish race facility.
The trip resulted in an in-depth feature of GotlandRing and its new 7.3-kilometer configuration as well as a unique cover that displays TopGear’s famous TV character “The Stig” alongside 15 exotic cars placed in front of the circuit’s most famous turn, “Havrén Sky,” named after the circuit architect and founder of GotlandRing, Alec Arho-Havrén. The turn is renowned for offering a controlled “low-flying” experience, often taken in a “Porsche Taycan RingTaxi”, which is a popular EV experience for circuit visitors.
This autumn, GotlandRing also celebrated its 20th anniversary, which coincided with TopGear’s visit.
