Blue Water Suriname has secured the Rig Agency and Logistics & Shore Base Support contract for Noble Corporation’s operations in Block 52.
Block 52 spans 4,749 square kilometres and lies off the coast of Paramaribo.
Noble Developer, a semisubmersible Mobile Offshore Drilling Unit (MODU), is leading the exploration campaign. The wells in the campaign are Roystonea-2, Kiskadee-1 and Caiman-1.

Blue Water’s scope includes customs brokerage, rig clearance, marine vessel agency, domestic transportation, logistics coordination, and local procurement support.
The company is also providing international freight services for the campaign.
This is in addition to its Global Master Services Agreement with Noble Corporation.

Norway-based Rystad Energy estimates Suriname has already unlocked around 2.2 billion barrels of oil equivalent resources since 2020, ranking it as a top frontier destination. Wood Mackenzie places Suriname’s oil resource count at over 2.4 billion barrels, with natural gas resources at 12.5 trillion cubic feet.
