France-based marine services provider, Bourbon Offshore, has mobilized yet another vessel for operations in South America’s newest oil producing nation.

“After a safe and successful voyage from Las Palmas, the AHT Bourbon Rhesos has arrived alongside at Georgetown [Guyana] ready to start her next long-term assignment under Bourbon Guyana Inc. in support of production activities offshore Guyana,” Edward Cooper, Managing Director, Bourbon Offshore.

This takes the total number of vessels the company has operating in Guyana to six. Prior to the arrival of the Rhesos, the company had mobilized the Bourbon Sapphire, Diamond and Clear.

Bourbon provides marine and logistics as well as subsea services to the global oil and gas industry.

The company officially opened an office in Guyana in May of 2019 and has been expanding its operations in the country since then.
