The opening of the second edition of Guyana’s largest oil and gas conference and exhibition is now less than 24 hours away and companies are pulling out all the stops in preparation for the 3-day event.
When OilNOW visited the exhibition site on Monday, workers could be seen setting up booths and exhibits as the opening of the three-day event approaches.
A delegation from Guyana’s Department of Energy headed by Director, Dr. Mark Bynoe, was also on site to see the progress of preparations for the signature event.
GIPEX will open on Wednesday at the Guyana Marriott Hotel where over 600 delegates and 200 companies will participate in the 3-day conference and exhibition.
“We are on the last lap to the finish line for the opening of the event,” Shariq AbdulHai, Managing Director of Valiant Business Media, the company organising the event, told OilNOW.
