ExxonMobil Guyana Limited (EMGL) said it plans to establish a goods and services agreement for Deepwater Subsea Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) support. 

In a public request for information, Exxon said the ROV services will assist oil and gas operations near the Georgetown area. These services will be primarily deployed from drill rigs supplied by EMGL contractors.

EMGL operates the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana. Since 2019, production from the Liza 1, Liza 2, and Payara projects has grown to over 650,000 barrels per day. 

The upcoming Yellowtail project will further increase output. Once online, it is expected to make Guyana the leading per capita oil producer globally.
