Guyana Shore Base Inc. (GYSBI) has announced an invitation to tender for Basin Dredging and Hydrographic Survey activities at its Houston, East Bank Demerara shore base.
“The project covers a 475-meter by 30-meter area adjacent to Berths 1 to 4, requiring dredging to a uniform chart datum of 6.5 meters,” the company said.

The scope includes periodic hydrographic surveys to determine dredging areas and volumes, using either cutter, suction, or trailing dredge methods, with post-dredging surveys required.
GYBSI said the interested companies must be registered and licensed in Guyana, with the ability to mobilize and complete work within 96 hours of notification.
