International Gas and Oil Trading (IGOT) is working to make its mark on Guyana’s offshore industry and carve out its space in the region, according to General Manager Luis Rojas. The company is currently participating in the Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo. The company has been around for three years but only became fully operational in November.

IGOT’s specialization is in distributing equipment, products, and services, tailored for the inception to completion of any oil and gas project. “Our role is to bring experience in the industry but also a reliable network of suppliers to Guyana,” Rojas said.

The company’s diverse offerings encompass offshore and onshore drilling products, gas injection compression production, personal protective equipment (PPE), offshore and onshore coating and accessories, as well as electrical fittings and accessories. These offerings are supported by strategic alliances with renowned companies such as the Walworth Group, PPG Industries, Starlink, Vallen, WESCO International, and Diavaz.

Diavaz, a key partner for IGOT Guyana, has decades of experience supporting Mexico’s oil sector. IGOT Guyana maintains a management vendor platform, aiming to match key interests and qualifications with fit-for-purpose suppliers. The transparent selection process ensures equal opportunity and healthy competition, crucial elements for delivering the best products and services to customers.

IGOT Guyana operates with the motto: “Locally Rooted, Globally Connected: Your Bridge to Success.” Hardeo Seeram, the company’s Sales Manager, highlighted that IGOT Guyana is fully local content certified.
