In a blow to Trinidad and Tobago’s energy sector, one of the major upstream natural gas suppliers has had to cease production due to an unexpected technical issue. The Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries of Trinidad and Tobago issued a media release stating that the supplier is currently addressing the issue, which has resulted in a substantial reduction in the country’s gas supply.
