The training curriculum focused on multiple facets, including the identification of potential environmental impacts associated with offshore oil and gas installations. It also delved into the principles of safety management on offshore platforms and imparted knowledge on hazard effects, their associated risks, and effective control measures.
The comprehensive instruction additionally equipped the officers with expertise in understanding the Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) and honed their emergency response skills. The CA-EBS ID training aimed to ensure the team’s preparedness in handling specific hazards and employing appropriate emergency response actions should the need for deployment arise.
