Saipem, on February 23, announced it has been awarded an additional offshore Contract Release Purchase Order under its existing Long-Term Agreement with Aramco in Saudi Arabia.
The award covers engineering, procurement, construction and installation works in the Safaniya oil field, one of the world’s largest offshore oil fields.
Saipem said its scope includes the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of a 48-inch trunkline comprising approximately 65 kilometers offshore and 12 kilometers onshore, along with associated subsea facilities. Offshore operations will be carried out by Saipem’s construction vessels currently deployed in the region.
