Eco Atlantic Oil & Gas has identified new drill targets in its Orinduik Block offshore Guyana, according to its 2025 Investor Presentation released this week.
The names of the exploration prospects were not listed. However, last March, Eco Atlantic identified two targets – Kumaka and Latuk – to be spud in 18 months.
Both prospects lie within the prolific Cretaceous interval and share the same zone as ExxonMobil’s Liza discoveries.
In its report, Eco Atlantic said it is targeting multiple stacked channel complexes, with hydrocarbon migration believed to flow from Stabroek through Orinduik and into the Kanuku Block.
The company noted that two oil discoveries—Jethro-1 and Joe-1—were made in 2019. Both encountered high-quality reservoirs with mobile heavy crude.
The company holds a 100% working interest in the 1,354 km² Orinduik Block, located in shallow water 170 km offshore Guyana. The acreage sits 11 km up-dip from Exxon’s Liza find and 6 km up-dip from Hammerhead, both situated in the Stabroek Block.
