The vessel is being built for ExxonMobil Guyana. It will be deployed for the Whiptail development, the sixth project in the Stabroek Block, located about 200 kilometers offshore Guyana.
The FPSO Jaguar is designed to have a crude oil production rate of 250,000 barrels per day (b/d) and is expected to contribute to total offshore Guyana production capacity exceeding 1.4 million b/d.
SBM Offshore said the design is based on its Fast4Ward® program. “This reinforces our commitment to standardized, efficient, and sustainable offshore production solutions.”
