Construction of the ONE GUYANA floating, production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) is about 75% complete, according to new updates from SBM Offshore.
The company, in its Half Year report for 2024, said the topside modules lifting campaign has been completed.
“Integration and commissioning activities are progressing in line with plan. First oil is expected in the second half of 2025,” the report said.
The vessel is being designed to produce 250,000 barrels of oil per day for ExxonMobil’s fourth Stabroek Block development – Yellowtail.
It will have an associated gas treatment capacity of 450 million cubic feet per day and water injection capacity of 300,000 barrels per day. The floater will be spread moored in water depth of about 1,800 meters and will be able to store around two million barrels of crude oil.
US$10B Yellowtail Project set to unleash a tsunami of economic benefits
The development plan for Yellowtail includes six drill centers and the drilling of up to 67 development wells, including 26 production and 25 injection wells. A subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines (SURF) production system comprising 51 enhanced vertical deepwater trees (EVDT) with associated tooling, as well as 12 manifolds with related controls and tie-in equipment, will also be installed for the project by TechnipFMC.
