Secure Innovations and Concepts Inc. (SI&C) plans to hire 75 locals as its operations expand in Guyana.
Its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Harold Hopkinson, told OilNOW that SI&C’s services encompass everything from managed security services for public and private clients to specialized security program integration.
“Our core competency lies in assessment, planning, development, and implementation of managed security services. We provide a wide array of services including residential, industrial and office security, aviation security, firearm training and repairs, background investigations, electronic surveillance, and much more,” Hopkinson said.
Founded in 1995 as TOPGUN Security Services, SI&C has grown to become a leading provider of comprehensive security solutions, the CEO explained.
Currently, SI&C’s workforce is comprised of approximately 230 Guyanese nationals.
“We are proud to offer employment opportunities in various roles such as Security Officers, Shift Supervisors, Aviation Security Officers, CCTV Operators, and SOC Operators,” said Hopkinson.
Moreover, SI&C said it is committed to investing in its workforce through comprehensive training programs. “We provide aviation training, unarmed static security training, health and safety training, and first aid training in collaboration with Guyana Red Cross/ St. John Association,” Hopkinson added.
One of SI&C’s achievements is its partnership with international aviation giants. With clients like American Airlines, British Airways, and United Airlines, Hopkinson said SI&C has solidified its reputation as a trusted security provider in the aviation industry.
“We have been serving major scheduled airlines in Guyana for years, ensuring the safety and security of passengers and personnel,” explained Hopkinson.
Additionally, he said SI&C’s role as the contracted security services provider for ExxonMobil Guyana shows its expertise and reliability in critical sectors like oil and gas.
