Petrobras plans to deploy 10 new offshore production systems by 2029, focusing on efficiency and lower emissions. The company in a recent report said nine systems are already contracted, with five additional projects in progress and six under study.

The company is investing US$77.3 billion in exploration and production (E&P) from 2024 to 2029, a 5% increase from its previous plan. Around 60% will target pre-salt activities, prioritizing high-quality oil, reduced costs, and lower emissions.
Petrobras said it also aims to produce 3.2 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (MMboe/d) by 2029, including 2.5 MMbbl/d of oil.

It has allocated US$7.9 billion for exploration to replace reserves and US$9.9 billion for decommissioning and sustainable equipment disposal.
Large-scale revitalization of Campos Basin fields and gas availability projects are also underway, supporting Petrobras’ long-term production and sustainability goals.
