ExxonMobil Guyana Limited has issued a request for information to identify suppliers capable of providing network services for its offshore drilling operations in Guyana.

The company plans to enter into a service agreement covering the provision of comprehensive network solutions and related services. The scope includes satellite-based network solutions such as Starlink®, Viasat®, and C-band systems, as well as the capability to design networks and provide ongoing network support.

The request targets suppliers with the technical capacity to support offshore operations as activity in Guyana continues to expand.

ExxonMobil Guyana Limited is the operator of the Stabroek Block, where it has made more than 30 commercial discoveries since 2015. Oil production began in December 2019 and has continued to increase.

To support offshore production and drilling activity, ExxonMobil Guyana has installed a submarine fiber-optic cable linking Stabroek Block facilities to its onshore operations centre at Ogle. The system enables real-time monitoring of production and the transmission of critical operational data.
