Anaergia Announces Director Resignation That Had Been Anticipated in Pending Transaction

BURLINGTON, Ontario–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Anaergia Inc. (“Anaergia” or the “Company”) (TSX: ANRG) announced today the acceptance of Mr. Frank McKenna’s resignation from the Company’s board of directors effective as of May 5, 2024. Previously, Mr. McKenna had agreed to resign concurrently with the closing of the final tranche of the announced equity investment of C$40.8 million (“Strategic Investment”) from Marny Investissement SA (“Marny”) (which remains outstanding) in order to create a vacancy for the appointment of a Marny nominee. Given the unanticipated and extended delay in such closing, Mr. McKenna has to attend to other prior commitments. Mr. McKenna remains a dedicated advocate of Anaergia’s business. Anaergia sincerely thanks Mr. McKenna for his services and contributions to the Company.
