The Chouest group has announced its acquisition of ROVOP, a provider of remotely operated vehicle (ROV) services. The move propels Chouest, in conjunction with its subsea service arm, C-Innovation, into control of a fleet comprising over 100 ROVs and six autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs).

By integrating ROVOP into its fold, Chouest said it not only broadens its service spectrum but also furnishes ROVOP with amplified resources.
