ExxonMobil Guyana Limited (EMGL) will continue developmental drilling operations at the Liz_3P13 Drill Center, part of the Liza Phase 2 Project in the Stabroek Block, according to a Notice to Mariners issued by the Maritime Administration Department (MARAD) this week.

The drilling campaign commenced on January 18, 2026, and will conclude on February 28, 2026.

According to MARAD, drilling operations are being conducted by the MODU Noble Don Taylor, supported by a fleet of offshore and supply vessels operating under international signals for vessels engaged in drilling activities. 

The Liz_3P13 Drill Center is located approximately 104.15 nautical miles (192.89 kilometers) offshore Guyana, within the country’s Exclusive Economic Zone. The drill site covers an area of 0.29 square nautical miles (approximately one square kilometer).

Liza 2, Exxon’s second development in the Stabroek Block, is averaging approximately 260,000 barrels per day (b/d).

The project is operated by ExxonMobil, which holds a 45% interest in the Stabroek Block; co-venturers Hess and CNOOC hold 30% and 25%, respectively.
