In a public Request for Information (RFI), EMGL said the core requirement for prospective collaborators is the supply of acoustic doppler current profilers (ADCPs), which are hydroacoustic current meters with a striking resemblance to sonar technology.

These instruments are crucial for accurately measuring water current velocities. They would also need to supply ADCP/anemometer field engineers among a slew of requirements.
