Energy logistics and supply chain solutions company Peterson says the performance of its Guyana team was exemplary in 2020, registering zero recordable incidents and pushing it to second place in the company’s annual safety awards.

“Cheers to our well-deserving Guyana Team for achieving second place in Peterson’s Annual Safety and Excellence Award for 2020. We achieved zero recordable incidents and zero environmental incidents,” the company said.

Peterson pointed out that the annual safety awards provide an opportunity for the company to set health and safety standards and celebrate successes, illustrating that zero incidents are both realistic and achievable within the organisation.

“These awards acknowledge the safety performance and commitment of our Operational Business units and the safety-critical nature of their operational activities across the company,” Peterson said.

“Well done to the team for its dedication and hard work in maintaining Peterson Safety standards,” the company added, urging the employees to “Keep it up.”
