Strategic Recruitment Solutions Inc. (SRSGY) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Specialists in Sustained Youth Development and Research Inc. (SSYDR), to offer SSYDR’s trained youth a 12 week on the job training opportunity. The agreement was signed on Thursday March 21, 2022.

SRSGY is a 100% Guyanese Owned, ISO 9001-2015 and Trace International Certified Company. The company said it is the leading multi-disciplinary recruitment consultancy firm specializing in all levels of Offshore, Accountancy, Finance, HR, Office Support and Commercial Recruitment in Guyana.  SRSGY offers permanent, fixed term and temporary recruitment from entry level positions to Director level.

SSYDR INC. is a local Not-For-Profit organization that focuses on Youth Development through training, coaching and linkages to livelihood opportunities.  SSYDR Inc. has as its vision “Inspired Youth transforming themselves, their communities, their nation” and has a mission to, “promote youth access to resources, opportunities and ongoing support for lifelong learning, leadership and livelihoods towards the reduction of violence, crime and poverty’.

Youth who were trained in the SSYDR Job Readiness Program will be afforded the opportunity to benefit from the 12-week on the job training program with SRSGY.  The youth will commence training in batches of six and will be awarded a generous monthly stipend. Successful completion of the program can result in a possibility of permanent employment.  This internship opportunity will allow youth to develop skills and attitudes that can contribute to their sustained personal development and economic empowerment.
